Description

DYE, Solvent Yellow 33 (Metric). Solicitation number W52P1J-06-R-3022 will establish a firm fixed price contract with an estimated base quantity of 29,731 lbs of yellow dye with 200 percent option. FOB: Destination, Pine Bluff Arsenal, 10020 Kabri ch Circle, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. A preaward dye sample will be required to be delivered to Pine Bluff Arsenal for testing. The dye characteristics must include: the average (or mean) particle size, the particle size distribution, and the percent o f particle size that is less than 10 microns. The requirements for the particle size is a mean particle size of between 30 and 45 microns, with the total distribution having only one mode (single-peak distribution) and no more than 20 percent of total par ticle size distribution shall fall below 10 microns. The proposal will be required to be received at the US Army Field Support Command at dates provided in the solicitation. This is an unrestricted procurement and Trade Agreements applies. The specifica tion is under revision and will be available with issuance of the solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on the Internet on or about July 5, 2006 with a closing date 30 days from its issuance on The Army Single Face to Industry webs ite at http://acquisition.army.mil. Vendors are advised to periodically to check the web site for amendments or other updates. All questions regarding the Request for Proposal will be accepted AFTER the solicitation has been posted to the web.
