Description

It is the intent of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to procure audio-visual equipment (to include, but not limited to projector(s), cables & accessories, color monitor(s), microphone(s), receiver(s), and transmitter(s)) and technical support (to include set-up and dismantling of equipment), by rental, on a sole source basis from the Hyatt Regency Orange County for a seminar of approximately 200 participants being held by the IRS July 10-14, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County located at 11999 Harbor Boulevard, Garden Grove, CA 92840. The basis for conduct of this procurement in this manner is due to Hyatt?s imposed Audio Visual Terms and Conditions, hourly fees, applicable liability insurance requirements, and other charges for the mandatory usage of its on-site audio-visual company to oversee the work and services of outside vendors and equipment on its property. This notice of intent is not a request for quote. Written response to this synopsis may be provided to be received by this office within 5 days of this announcement, and should include sufficient information to establish a basis for a competed action. Additionally, documentation must establish your capability and willingness to fulfill the requirement. Written response will be used to determine if this acquisition will be made competitive. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
