- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for: Scope: This specification identifies the minimal physical, functional, electrical, and test requirements for a commercially available, state of the art, off-the-shelf, rack-mount touch screen computer monitor for integration and utilization with existing government systems. Basic Requirements: 1. 19.1 inch LCD computer monitor. 2. 19 inch rack-mount 8RU in height, size (height 14.00?, width 18.80?). 3. Semi-gloss black front bezel. 4. Touch screen SAW (surface acoustic wave). 5. Flat, non-glare LCD. 6. USB interface for touch screen and USB cable. 7. Front mounted controls. 8. Support resolutions 1152x900 @ 66Hz and 76Hz 9. Sync-On-Green video supported 10. Backlight dimmable to 0 Nits 11. Must be standard product line. No custom build first run products will be accepted. 12. One front bezel mounted USB ports and USB cable. 13. All Cables will be 6 foot in length. Specifications: Proposals may exceed these specifications. 1. LCD spec: 19.1? Active Matrix, Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). 2. Pixel Pitch: 0.28 mm 3. Contrast Ratio: 650:1 or better 4. Scanning Frequency: Horizontal: 24 to 80 kHz. 5. Vertical: 56 to 75 Hz. 6. VGA to SXGA (1280x1024). 7. View Angle: Pulse/Minus 85 degrees all directions. 8. Input Connectors: HD 15. 9. Touch Screen Cable: 6? USB. 10. Internal Power 120/240v AC input with power cord. 11. Drivers to support NT4.0/2K/XP. 12. Specification for the NON-touch screen are the same as listed above but without the touch screen. General: 1. Equipment offered shall be of contemporary design and shall consist of the manufacturer?s standard catalog items. A minimum of 5 copies of the complete set of operation and service manuals shall be provided with the system. 2. NASA will evaluate the proposed bids and selection will be made based on the best value to the government. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code is 334111. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
