Description

Noun: Sustainment and enhancement of the Cockpit Management System (CMS) and Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) software on Special Operations Aircraft. Contract H92241-04-D-0001,is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for a period of five years. The current contract is in effect into December 2008. Enhancements/software engineering support for such things as Digital AFCS, Intel Broadcast Receiver and LAN/VADR will be included in the existing contract. The current contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The intended source is Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0001. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm responding to this publication will be considered by the agency. Note: 22
