Description

Project Title: Clear Creek Falls Overlook for the Wenatchee National Forest. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for certified small business concerns located in a Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone). NAICS code is 237310, size standard is $31.0 million. The work consists of, but not limited to, minor tree clearing, reconstruction of the parking lot, and construction of a concrete sidewalk with curb, kiosk pad, viewing deck and picnic table pad with associated crushed aggregate base. The project also includes minor excavation for new trail construction including loading, hauling and placing of borrow material, placement of crushed aggregate and hot mix asphalt paving for trails and parking lot. Additional items include rock masonry faced wall sections and sign bases as well as picnic table and bench installation, sign posts plus removal and replacement of existing toilet building and cyclone fencing. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. This acquisition will result in a firm fixed price contract. This project will be advertised as a written proposal. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about July 6, 2006. Proposals will be due on or about August 4, 2006. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
