- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Polymers Division has a requirement for purchasing three types of polycaprolactone scaffolds (50 scaffolds of each type). Because these scaffolds are intended for use in the production of reference scaffolds for tissue engineering, the delivered scaffolds need to be accompanied by the documentation and the data showing the scaffold-to-scaffold variability. Delivery shall be FOB DESTINATION and shall be completed not later than 30 days after receipt of award. This requirement is being procured under simplified acquisition procedures, using full & open competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325211 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at HTTP://WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ number SB1341-06-Q-0468. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about June 27, 2006, and will only be available via the Internet at the above website. Potential offerers are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone request shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
