Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to American Statistical Association, 1429 Duke Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 13.106-1. The contractor shall, unless otherwise specified, collaborate with the CDC for the Eleventh Biennial CDC and ATSDR Symposium on Statistical Methods ?Statistical Methods in Policy Analysis, Program Evaluation and the Presentation of Information for Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities?. ASA has the experience and membership to present advance knowledge of statistics throughout CDC with training, seminars and symposia on the subject matter. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement.
