- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child and Human Development (NICHD) intends to procure Grants Management Services. The contactor shall provide assistance regarding the management of clinical trial grant awards; Review the Notice of Grant Award spreadsheets for assurance and completeness for sign-off by the Supervisory Team Leader or Chief Grants Management Officer; Mentor and provide guidance for existing Grants Management Branch and Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Grants Management Branch. The contractor shall have knowledge of the NIH IMPAC II Web-base version of the Grants Management Module, Quick View and IC Operations. The contractor shall also have extensive knowledge regarding Human Subjects protection and Animal Welfare. Those are Health and Human Services Department Policies that shall be carefully reviewed and accessed. This procurement will be under Part 13 of the FAR. The period of performance shall be for 6 months. All small businesses that are capable of providing the Government with the services described above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing or by FAX to 301-480-8502 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. The following clause is incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-806 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is July 21, 2006. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 775, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: Patricia Haun. Fax quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
