- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for engineering support services for the FAA's Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC) Critical and Essential Power Systems (ACEPS) and associated systems. This contractor depot level support (CDLS) will include all required labor, facilities, materials and equipment (except Government-furnished), indirect material, and preservation, packaging, packing and marking required to provide depot level repair and complete supply support to the systems. System support includes: (a) Bonded warehousing (b) Integrated logistics support (c) Configuration management. (d) Exchange and repair (E&R) of line replaceable units (LRU's). (e) Return and repair (R&R) of LRU's. (f) Fabrication and/or procurement of LRU's. (g) Establish repair procedures. (h) Engineering change proposals (ECP's). (i) Technical assistance/engineering services. (j) Battery replacement The various systems are agency-wide and include: (a) Air Route Traffic Control Center Critical and Essential Power Systems (ACEPS) (b) National Exide, IPM Uninterruptible Power Systems (NEIUPS) (c) Dual Redundant Power Distribution System (DRPDS) (d) Critical Redundant Power Distribution System (CRPDS) Eaton Powerware is the only known source for this requirement. CDLS for these systems requires data, software coding, training materials and other information for IPM/BP and Exide/Powerware models. Eaton Powerware is the only know source for this proprietary data. Business concerns that would like to be considered a source for this requirement must provide a complete documentation package to the contracting officer identified above no later than June 13, 2006. This documentation must clearly demonstrate that the firm has legal ownership or access to original equipment manufacturers documentation, and replacement parts. Information received as a result of this market survey will not be available for use outside the government. The sole purpose of this survey is to determine if there are additional sources for this requirement other than Eaton Powerware. This is not a request for proposals and there is no obligation for the FAA to acquire these services. The FAA will not pay for any information received or for costs incurred in preparing responses to this market survey. Firms who respond to this survey may be asked for additional information.
