Description

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform (1) Grounds Maintenance at Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB), in Wichita Falls, Texas - approximately 3,199 acres (2) Sheppard AFB Annex at Lake Texoma, in Sandusky, Texas - approximately 110 acres, and (3) Frederick Auxiliary Airfield, in Frederick, Oklahoma - approximately 15 acres. This acquisition is set aside for qualified HUBZone small business concerns. Period of Performance: 1 Oct 06 ? 30 Sep 07 plus one-option period. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is 10 July 2006. Estimated proposal due date is 1 August 2006. Solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted through the Electronic Posting System (http://www.eps.gov). Paper copies will not be provided. Contractors will be solely responsible for monitoring the Internet and obtaining the solicitation or any subsequent amendments and downloading them for their files. Interested offerors must ensure they are registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive award of contract. CCR information can be obtained at the following website: http://www.ccr.gov. POTENTIAL OFFERORS NOTE A: Due to government budget constraints the solicitation will contain a number of alternative performance requirements for pricing. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the government may choose either of the alternative contract requirements for initial award, or for exercise of option periods and will expect the contractor to perform under either performance requirement. POTENTIAL OFFERORS NOTE B: Funds are not presently available for this requirement; if a contract is awarded, the government?s obligation under the contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds. POTENTIAL OFFERORS NOTE C: The solicitation will contain a price exhibit for various services in Grounds Maintenance. During the course of contract administration initial items maybe modified or new items maybe added.
