- Description
- This requirement is to fill artifact aircraft tires with an inert, self curing, weight bearing material to create solid tires that do not need to be inflated. The tires can be filled with a combination of virgin and recycled fill material as long as the cured product maintains the shape of the tire while supporting the aircraft. The contractor will demount and remount tires on rims as required. The cost will be broken out per pound for recycled material and price per pound for virgin tire fill material. The work includes jacking the aircraft and placing them on pads. The work shall be performed on-site at Dover Air Force Base DE. The contractor should be able to specify the period of performance needed to complete the tires shown in the attached list.
