Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The associated NAICS cod e is 532111. Services, non-personal to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to provide rental vehicles for the AMC/IG while deployed to the Alpena CRTC, Alpena, MI in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, commercial practices. Period of Performance: 22 July 2006 to 08 August 2006. There are multiple delivery and return dates as described in the solicitation. THIS SOLICITATION IS A CASCADING SET-ASIDE. SMALL BUSINESSES SHALL HAVE FIRST CONSIDERATION FOR AWARD. HOWEVER IN THE EVENT THAT SMALL BUSINESSES CAN NOT FULLFILL THE REQUIREMENT, ALL OR A PORTION OF THIS SOLICITATION MAY BE AWARDED TO A LARGE BUSINESS.
