Description

This amendment is to provide answers to questions from potential offerors and extend the response date to 3:00 PM EST.26 June 2006. Q1. Para 2.1.2.1 states testing to NRL 8093 Test 1, 2, 3a and 3b. We do not recognize tests 3a and 3b. The 8093 document only describes a test 3. Please verify if you have are referencing a new or updated different version of NRL 8093. A1. We agree there is only a test 1, 2 and 3. Please correct. Q2. You have specified delivery not being made until October 2007. Can the materials be manufactured according to a normal schedule, invoiced, and be stored until the specified delivery date. The reason for this request is that if we must wait to manu facture these materials until 2007 we cannot be guaranteed that our current raw material prices will remain unchanged. Our vendors will only hold their current prices for 60-90 days. A2. Contractor can include a separate line item for the material to be properly stored until the specific delivery date, but the Government will not take title of the items until the final acceptance which will occur after testing of the material. Upon f inal acceptance invoicing and payment occurs.
