- The Edgewood Division of the U.S. Army Research, Development, Engineering Command Acquisition Center anticipates the award on a sole source basis of the First Defender handheld Raman Spectrometer. This identification detector was developed by Ahura Corporation. Ahura Corporation is qualified to perform this effort in part because of the support and training the company is offering. The Ahura First Defender was also the instrument of choice chosen by the customer.
