- The Edgewood Division of the U.S. Army Research, Development, Engineering Command Acquisition Center anticipates the award on a sole source basis of the M40 mask patches which were developed by Pierce-RobertsRubber Company. Pierce Roberts was the ve ndor selected for this effort due to their demonstration of capability through previous work, their willingness to develop a single mold for all three parts, their ability to keep tooling costs to a minimum, and their low price-per-part.
