Description
This is a Sources Sought announcement and is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, desires to identify 8(a), Hub-zone certified busines ses, Women-owned business, Veteran-owned and Service-Disabled contractors capable of providing construction services in connection with the phased replacement of Mechanical systems in 5 Barracks buildings located at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Harford County Maryland. The estimated cost range for projects included in this sources sought is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. These projects are part of the Barracks Improvement Program. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used b y the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this announcement, and if the Government still plans to proceed with the acquisitions, solicitation announcements will be published in the Federal Business Opp ortunity for the respective projects. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. All interested offerors will have the opportunity to respond to solicitation announcements at a later time. Work will consist, but not be limited to, Mechanical syste ms replacements and minor architectural patchwork related to the systems replacements. Responses should include: (1) Identification of company as 8(a), Hub-zone certified business, Women-owned business, Veteran-owned and/or Service-Disabled with incl usion of SBA certificate; (2) maximum bonding capacity for a single project and aggregate. This notice is to assist the Baltimore District, Corps of Engineers in determining potential sources only. This sources sought announcement is not to be construe d as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.
