Description

PR-19 Dam Rehabilitation - The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, material, equipment and supplies necessary to repair the PR-19 Dam and water detention reservoir. The work includes: dewatering reservoir and construction area; reconstruction of the dam embankment including upstream riprap slope protection and internal chimney drain system; construction of concrete encased, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) outlet conduit; construction of outlet control tower with water control valves; construction of toe drain collection system; construction of gabion outlet basin; and reclamation of all disturbed areas. The project is located in Phillips County, Montana, southeast of Malta, Montana. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This project is open to both large and small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The anticipated period of performance is 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds will be required as follows: Bid Guarantee - 20% of the bid price, Payment and Performance bonds - 100% of the contract price. The solicitation document will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov The specifications and drawings will only be available on compact disk and may be obtained by written fax request to 303-236-0590. Bidders will be required to print the bidding documents and obtain a copy of the CD for submission of their bids. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about (July 6, 2006). Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation, and register or update their registration at the Online Representation and Certification Application website at http://orca.bpn.gov.
