- NASA/KSC has a requirement for: 1) 1 EA MODEL 10S1G4A MICROWAVE AMPLIFIER 13 WATT .8- 4.2 GHZ. 2) 1 EA MODEL 20T4G18A MICROWAVE AMPLIFIER 20 WATT 4.2-18 GHZ. 3) 2 EA MODEL AT1080 LOG-PERIODIC ANTENNA 2000 WATT 80-1000 MHZ. 4) 1 EA MODEL 10W111C RF AMPLIFIER 10 WATT 500 KHZ-1GHZ. 5) 1 EA MODEL FP7018 E-FIELD PROBE KIT 3 MHZ-18GHZ. 6)1 EA MODEL FM7004 FIELD MONITOR. Specialized equipment is needed on an urgent basis to support study mission requirements. NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from AR WORLDWIDE. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:30 p.m. local time on June 23, 2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
