- NASA/KSC has a requirement for: 1) 1 EA ETS/Lindgren model 26 Double Electrically Isolated Copper Screen Modular RF Enclosure (17 ft. 1 in. wide x 10 ft. 4-? in. long x 8 ft. 1- in. high). Includes 20 amp filter, two removable brass panels, 180 watt light fixture and four bulkhead connectors. 2) 1 EA ETS/Lindgren P/N 551087,1-? inch brass waveguide feedthru with dielectric break (sprinkler penetration) 3) 1 JOB ETS/Lindgren Installation by factory certified personnel including travel expenses 4) 1 JOB Freight Shipping FOB origin NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from ETS-LINDGREN. Customized light weight enclosure required for 4th floor lab installation. Urgency to support study mission requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:30 p.m. local time on June 23, 2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
