- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled General and Precision Machining/Fabrication which was posted on June 14, 2006. You are notified that the following changes are made:(1) to clarify that this acquisition is a total small business set aside under NAIC 332710 and small business size standard 500 employees. (2) The requirement for vendor responses is corrected to read as follows: The attached statement of work sets forth the range of General and Precision Machining/Fabrication work required. Vendors do not need to meet all capabilities in the statement of work but should clearly detail their individual capabilities in their response. Responses should also include: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; in addition to providing information regarding their small business size using the applicable NAICS Code and small business size standard, vendors should also indicate whether they are classified as small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, veteran owned, service disabled veteran owned, and/or woman-owned; number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); list of customers covering the past five years (highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement; and point of contact - address and phone number). (3) The requirements for submitting offers is modified to read as follows: A completed BPA package shall be submitted to NASA Langley Research Center, Attn: Sharon Hare, Mail Stop 126, Hampton, VA 23681 no later than 4 p.m., on June 30, 2006. Vendors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer. These may be obtained via the internet at URL: http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/eps/Templates/Commercial_Greater_Than_25K.doc. These representations and certifications will be incorporated by reference in any resultant BPA. Please reference NNL06FAB in any response. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JAN 2006), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, which is incorporated by reference. Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below. (4) The statements "Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4 p.m. June 30, 2006 to NASA Langley Research Center, Attn: Sharon Hare, Mail Stop 126, Hampton, VA 23681 and must include, solicitation number, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://server-mpo.arc.nasa.gov/Services/NEFS/NEFSHome.tml. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JAN 2006), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, which is incorporated by reference. " are deleted in their entirety. Vendors should submit their responses as outlined in paragraph (3) of this modification. The due date for responses is not extended. Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
