- The following answers are provided to questions submitted in reference to this solicitation: Q: Do the trash bags have to be red, or any other color? A: The trash bags do not have to be red or any specific color, although the trash bags cannot be transparent. Q: Would a Tyvek equivalent be accepted, or is it required to be manufactured with Tyvek material? A: Yes, a material equivalent to Tyvek would be accepted, but offerors must provide documentation to support that the quoted material is equivalent. Failure for offerors to provide the documentation will render their quote non-responsive. Reminder: The award will be a base period of 12 months, with four 12 month options. Offerors must provide unit pricing for each year. Also you may request full text versions of the provisions and clauses. All questions must be submitted via e-mail to micreenan@usuhs.mil, by June 23, 2006. Questions will not be answered over the phone and questions submitted after this date will not be answered. All quotes are due June 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. EST, and may be either e-mailed to micreenan@usuhs.mil, or faxed to 301.295.1716. It is the offerors responsibility to ensure that their quote is received in its entirety at the designated office by the due date and time.
