Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is seeking a contractor to provide actuarial data analysis services to conduct annual updates of the PIMS pension plan databases. This will include developing, organizing, validating and entering actuarial data to be used in the models. Primarily this work will involve the collection, analysis, editing, calibration and data entry of information from Form 5500 (Annual Return/Report of Employee Benefit Plan) Schedule B and attachments for single employer and multiemployer plans identified by PBGC. The period of performance for the base year is expected to be from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007, with four (4) one-year options for renewal at PBGCs discreation. The solicitation document will be distributed through the FedBizOpps gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. All information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be available through the FedBizopps site. Interested parties are rersponsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have most up to date information about this acquistion. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be available. The solicitation is not currently available, but estimated to be available on or about July 17, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration by the PBGC.
