Each zone will be evaluated and awarded separately from the other zones. The resultant contract period will be for an eighteen (18) month base period and three (3) eighteen (18) month Government options. Although the exact performance date has yet to be firmly established, each contact is expected to commence prior to 01 January 2007. Each zone within the solicitation will be set-aside for small business. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by DSCP. Anticipated solicitation issuance date is 12 July 2006 and will be available for download at the DLA Internet Bid Board or the DSCP Produce Website: http://www.dscp.dla.mil/subs/produce/pv/index.asp. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia anticipates conducting a Pre-Proposal Conference(s), however, date(s) has (have) yet to be established.
