- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to perform maintenance work on 8.3 miles of road in Southeast Alaska. Major work items include reestablishment of the road prism, re-establish ditch lines and placement of a select borrow surface. This project is located on the Ketchikan-Misty Fiords Ranger District of the Tongass National Forest. It is approximately 20 air miles northeast of Ketchikan Alaska. It can be reached only by seaplane or boat. The road system can be accessed by the Forest Service Marine Access Facility. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance period is 365 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about July 6, 2006 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0116-S-06-0048. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date.
