Description
The Department of Labor (DOL) intends to award a sole source contract to the Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification Institute for two-three day and one-five day training workshop in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) discipline for the Federal Government. The workshops will enable DOL to fulfill commitments to OMB and to maintain a high EA Maturity Rating. DOL is seeking to secure training services that meet the following requirements. 1. Must be fully accredited in providing certification-level training in the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF). This is critical because DOL uses the FEAF to develop its Enterprise Architecture. 2. FEAF Training must be geared towards the Federal Sector and not the commercial sector. 3. Proven experience in providing EA training at the Federal Level and must demonstrate such experience with at least 3 references that provided the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework training in this environment. 4. Recognized as an industry-expert in Enterprise Architecture and associated Training. 5. The training curriculum must be broken down into the Concept, Planning, Implementation, and Integration levels 6. Training must include hands-on exercises in order to provide participants with practical experience 7. Training must provide instruction on how to meet and surpass OMB EA Assessment Framework version 2.0 criteria. 8. Has experts on staff who have implemented EA best practices at the Federal Level 9. Training Curriculum needs to be tailored to the DOL that includes: a. An Overview of the DOL EA Vision b. An in-depth study of the DOL EA methodology c. A detailed overview of the DOL Governance Framework 10. Must demonstrate having provided similar training seminars at multiple Federal agencies 11. Must provide group classes on-site at DOL headquarters. Parties interested in responding to this solicitation must include both a technical and cost proposal including 3 references that the parties have provided with FEAF instruction within the last 12 months.
