Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan PR, is seeking for companies that can provide specification data of the following medical equipment: Item 0001- Remote controlled 2D water phantom for automatic dose distribution measurement of radiation therapy beams (to be used in conjunction with Linear Accelerator Model CT Light Speed QXi). Item 0002 ? 2-dimensional therapy beam measurement system intended for quick and precise verification of dose distribution resulting from an IMRT plan. The manufacturing of this equipment must comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.225-1 Buy American Act ? Supplies. This Sources Sought announcement is a Request for Information (RFI) only. The RFI number is 672-462-06 and shall be referenced on all correspondence. Any technical questions regarding this announcement shall be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer, no later than June 27, 2006. All responses must include descriptive literature and all components, if applicable.
