Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR VARIOUS BRINKMANN ROTO-EVAPORATOR PARTS. DESC: INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT WITH BRINKMANN INSTRUMENTS, INC. Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Brinkmann Instruments Inc., One Cantiague Road, P.O. Box 1019, Westbury, NY 11590-0207. The Sole Source purchase will be for the following: ** (1) Buchi Vacuum pump (Part #5518006), (2) Cable Set to connect controller to vacuum pump (Part #15535121), (3) Set of 4 Hose Adaptors (Part #15674270), (4) Vacuum seals for vacuum pump (Part #15523808), (5) Vacuum trap (Part #15504307), and Vacuum pump valve assembly (Part #15506521), DELIVERED TO AIR FORCE RESEARCH LAB, EDWARDS AFB, CA ** **Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to develop an optimal placement-grade thermoplastic composite material for fiber and tape placement and filament as detailed above.
