Description
UPDATE 22 JUNE 2006: Solicitation #FA8601-06-R-0028 has changed to FA8601-06-R-0056. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set aside, only those businesses quailifying for this designation may submit a proposal. The Request for Proposal (RFP) has been posted to FedBiz Opps. See attached files to the RFP; Solicitation FAA8601-06-R-0056 Exhibit A, Bid Schedule Attachment 1 Performance Work Statement Attachment 2 Instructions to Offerors Attachment 3 Evaluations For Awards Attachment 4 Past Performance Questionnaire Attachment 5 Wage Determination Attachment 6 FAR Reps and Certs Attachment 7 DFAR Reps and Certs The RFP response date is 31 JULY 2006 4:00 PM EST. Attachment 4, Past Performance Questionnaires are due no later than 31 JULY 2006 from all references who were sent Past Performance Questionnaires, reference Attachment 2, ITO for instructions. _________________________________________________________________ Service is needed to perform Inspections, Testing and Preventive Maintenance, in support of the sites of work at various buildings throughout Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Areas ?A?, ?B? and ?C?. Specific requirements will include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: furnish all parts, labor, devices, equipment, appliances, materials and performing all operations necessary in connection with the cleaning and decontamination of the complete air handling systems. These systems shall include supply, return, fresh air intakes and ducts, exhaust air ducts including roof discharges, registers, grilles, diffusers, dampers, fans, fan housings, fan wheels, blades, plenums, air handling units and coils, both heating and cooling. It further includes all removal, cutting into, replacement and repairs, which might be necessary in the performance of the contract. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor and materials and shall perform all operations necessary to complete the work. The proposed procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, NAIC Code 561790, size standard of $6,500,000.00. Period of Performance is approximately 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. Four one-year options may be awarded. The solicitation/RFP will be issued electronically and posted on the FBO (Federal Business Opportunities) web site at: http://www.fbo.gov NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. NOTE: THE SOLICITATION/RFP WILL BE ISSUED ON OR ABOUT 1 June 2006 ON THE FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES (FBO) INTERNET WEB SITE. Once the solicitation/RFP has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates to the documents. Miller has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
