Description

The United States Geological Survey Reston, Virginia intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Springer Science + Business Media, LLC, 233 Spring Street, New York, NY, 10013-1578 for the Springer Earth and Environmental Science Archive Package. A comprehensive internet- based resource for research and communications in Geosciences. Consisting of ninety eight scientific journal titles and approximately 4040 volumes. There is only one known source for the Earth and Environmental Science Archive Package. This action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to Paulette Hundley at (703) 648-7396 or by email at phundley@usgs.gov.
