Description

This amendment is written to make the following changes to the scope of work. 1. Section II.A1 Qualifications, Delete item e., Acrow Corporation of America, Carlstadt, NJ 800-524-7515; 2. Section III.A.2 Submittals to Accompany Quotation, Add items e. and f. as follows: "e. Copy of documentation verifying that the bridge manufacturer maintains a current AISC certification in the category of Major Steel Bridge (CBR). f. Submit a copy of the manufacturer's quality control plan identifying bridge designer and designer's qualifications, and key individuals responsible for oversight of the correct fabrication of the structure. Include a brief summary of the management tools to be employed to ensure that the project meets FS required timelines."; 3. Section IV.B.2 Design Criteria, 50 PCF shall be used for the purposes of calculating dead load for both treated and untreated timber.; 4. Section VI.1 Quality Control And Quality Assurance, Delete paragraph one (1) and add the following: "1. Bridge fabricator shall be certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction to have the personnel, organization, experience, and capability to produce fabricated structural steel for Major Steel Bridges (CBR)." Offers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation by acknowledging receipt of this amendment on each copy of the offer submitted.
