- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to reconstruct approximately 0.83 miles and construct approximately 0.48 miles of road. Work items include reconditioning in-place of a 60 inch CMP in a class II stream, re-establishment of the road prism, clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, haul, culvert installation, log stringer bridge installation, seeding, pit development, erosion control, mobilization and quality control. The project area is located on Ketchikan-Misty Fiords Ranger District of the Tongass National Forest, Southeast Alaska, approximately 20 air miles northeast of Ketchikan Alaska. The work site is accessible via seaplane or marine charter. The estimated price range for this acquisition is $100,000 - $250,000. The performance period is 180 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about July 5, 2006 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0116-S-06-0045. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project. In order to receive any contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA).
