- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following Commercial item: Industrial Radiographic Film Digitization Computer Workstation. The item must meet the following minimum specifications: ? The system MUST be compatible with and configured to operate Wyle NDE Laboratories existing Lumisys LS-85 Radiographic film scanner. ? The computer shall provide a SCSI interface to the existing Lumisys Film Scanner. The computer shall have a minimum 1Gigabyte RAM and a hard drive with 100 Gigabytes hard drive storage. The unit will have the capability to export data using both Ethernet and recordable media such as DVD and CDR. ? The supplier shall provide software that is compatible with the Lumisys LS-85 film scanner for providing high resolution digital imaging of radiographic film. The software should be have adaptive controls for brightness, contrast, gamma, filters, image enhancement tools, and measuring capabilities. The computer should also include all the necessary software for operation of the unit, peripherals and any imaging software so that the images can be transferred and e-mailed, copied or viewed by parties that do not have any proprietary system imaging software. (Photoshop or equivalent). ? The system should include exportable viewing software that allows clients to access, review, manipulate and perform image manipulation of the images viewed without additional photo-processing programs that is exportable to clients. The software should be a viewer only and not permit saving of changes of the image file or any associated data. ? The system will include a 19? diagonal (or better), 5 Mega Pixel (or better) high resolution Monochrome flat panel monitor. ? Two copies of all operation manuals. ? A minimum of 1 year Warranty on all Hardware and Software (parts and labor).. ? On- site Training performed for the operation of the software. ? Shipping costs shall be included This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 334111 and 1,000, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFQ NNK06162732Q is on or about July 5, 2006 with an anticipated quotation due date of on or about August 4, 2006. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
