Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado, is requesting proposals from qualified and eligible firms capable of furnishing all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, transportation and incidentals needed for designing and constructing a water treatment system at the Jackson National Fish Hatchery located in Jackson, Wyoming. Work shall include but not be limited to the installation of a drum filter and UV sterilizer to disinfect water. In addition, the contractor will be responsible for designing and constructing a new metal building in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Work will be performed at the Jackson National Fish Hatchery which is located in Teton County, Wyoming. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $500,000. The total performance period is 90 calendar days. This acquisition is open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS code is 237990 and the small business size standard is $31M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 24, 2006 with an anticipated closing date of August 24, 2006. Contract award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror, whom proposal is determined to offer the best value to the government in terms of past performance and price. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at www.fbo.gov once available for issuance.
