Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado, is requesting quotes from qualified and eligible firms capable of furnishing all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, transportation and incidentals needed to revise an existing emergency power distribution system. The scope of work includes but is not limited to replacing the humidifiers, recalibration of the existing pneumatic controls and performing miscellaneous piping and electrical repairs and revisions as prescribed by the contract plans and specifications. All work shall be done in strict accordance with the attached plans and specifications. All work will be performed at the DC Booth National Fish Hatchery which is located in Lawrence Country, South Dakota. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The total performance period is 120 calendar days. This acquisition is open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS code is 236210 and the small business size standard is $31M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 10, 2006 with an anticipated closing date of August 10, 2006. Contract award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror, whom proposal is determined to offer the best value to the government in terms of past performance and price. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at www.fbo.gov once available for issuance.
