Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. ACA, Directorate of Contracting wishes to procure No-Cost Civilian Enterprise Newspaper, Fort Bliss Guide-Telephone Directory, Map, CD, and Pocket Guide exclusively in the El Paso Metropolitan area. These comp etitive acquisitions are 100% set-aside for small business concerns. These requirements will result in a Firm-Fixed price contract, with a base year and four option years basic contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511110 (Newspaper Publishing) with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be best value. It is anticipated that the solic itation will be issued electronically on or about 24 June 2006 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in CCR may do so by calling 1-800-334-3414 o r by visiting http://www.ccr.gov/. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
