Description: Carlton Campground Road Realignment consists of realigning part of the campground road out of the flood plain of North Fork Yuba River and includes clearing and grubbing, excavation and embankment, culvert installation, sub-base(structural fill) placement with compaction, 3/4 inch aggregate placement with compaction, 3 inch aggregate placement with compaction and removal and salvage of existing road signs. To reach the site from Nevada City,CA., proceed north on California State Hwy. 49 for approximately 32 miles crossing the North Fork Yuba River Bridge, proceed ahead for approximately 0.50 miles to the Carlton Campground entrance road, turn right and proceed ahead for approximately 0.02 miles to the beginning of the project. Estimated soliciation date 07/12/06. Estimated start work date 08/21/06, contract time 26 days.
