- Description
- The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Quantity type of contract which will require architectural design disciplines on projects conceived to repair, improve and remodel buildings, utilities and other facilities. Asbestos removal and disposal may be included in some of these projects as a part of the domolition process. In addition, services may include special studies requiring detailed analysis and written reports; bidding and award activities, construction administration and inspection. The contract will provide for a basic term of one year and four one-year option periods. The maximum aggregated fee will not exceed $950,000 for the possible five year performance period with an estimated $190,000 per year. Maximum order limitation $300,000 per delivery order. A one time order of $1,000 is the minimum for the five year period. Specific projects, as they are approved, will be accomplished by the negotiation and issuance of individual fixed-price delivery orders. Each potential contractor will be evaluated on the following factors: (1)Professional qualifications of the firm; (2)Specialized experience and technical competence in repair and retrofit projects; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time frame, i.e., 120 days per delivery order typical; (4)Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5)Location of principal and consultants offices with 100 miles of Jefferson Laboratories. Firms which meet the requirements of this announcement are invited to submit for the firm and all consultants, in original and five (5) copies, (1)Standard Form 330, "Architect - Engineer Qualifications" (available at http://www.gsa.gov) and (2)any supplemental data which is pertinent to this acquisition. Responses shall be submitted to the attention of Marcia Park, Contract Specialist, OFFAS, Acquisitions, 3900 NCTR Road, Jefferson, AR 72079, no later than July 14, 2006. This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. This is not a Request for Proposal.
