- Description
- The United States Coast Guard intends to issue a Request for Proposal to construct ISC Alameda Waterfront Improvements to include repair and modification of fendering systems, provide new fendering systems, installation of new dolphin and walkway, and electrical work to include replacement of substation, demolition of power mounds and installation of new power mounds, and replacement of existing telecommunication with Cat5 cabling. Additive items may include Stanchion and gangway for new NSC, 7-250? shore-tie cables, factory potted, 7 power cable reels and trailer, and removal of all electrical conduit abandoned due to this project. The Government will be looking for Contractors that have prior marine high/low voltage electrical experience as well as experience with marine pile driving and pier fendering construction experience. Construction is targeted for late fall through winter of 2007. The Government Estimate range is $1 to $5 million. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded to the contractor that provides the best value to the Government. This procurement is unrestricted.
