Description
Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. OC-ALC released RFP FA8105-05-R-0014 for KC-135 Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) on 19 AUG 2005. Due to a substantial change in the requirement from a maximum quantity of 60 aircraft per year to a maximum quantity of 48 aircraft per year the Air Force intends to open the solicitation via RFP Amendment 0005 to allow current Offerors to revise their proposals and any additional Offerors an opportunity to propose against the changed requirements. This solicitation will open 12 JUL 2006 and close 11 SEP 2006. The Government will contract for a Basic period of five years and five one-year Option periods with range quantities for each year. The BEQ is 24 aircraft per year. Approximately 240 aircraft will be placed against this contract over the next ten years for PDM if all option years are exercised. The Government will provide an initial, proposed input/output schedule no later than 01 Sep of each fiscal year. The Government will place three orders per fiscal year, one for the Air Force, one for the Air Force Reserve and one for the Air National Guard, based on the range quantity pricing of aircraft for the fiscal year. The solicitation is structured using FAR Part 12 with additional terms and conditions to meet the Government?s needs. After release of RFP Amendment 0005 on 12 JUL 2006 all communication will be through the PCO. Access to drawings can be obtained IAW Addendum 7 to the final RFP. This access will require the contractor to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access Boeing data through the Air Forces JEDMICs data system. The projected contract award date is Nov 2006 with an estimated duration of 10 years. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests.
