Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(1) to Eaton Areospace, 2205 Whitfield Ave, Sarasota, FL 34243 as the only source for the product and services required. The proposed Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract action is to purchase the following: Arc Fault Circuit Breaker per the requirements contained in SAE AFCB Specification AS5692 for Eaton Part Numbers 4310-5001, 7000-5001 and Arc fault circuit breaker test box. The contract is expected to be a FFP. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within fifteen calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government reserves the right to confirm the ability of any respondent to meet the requirements. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
