- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. (ii) The solicitation number is PR20021296. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) incorporating provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09, dated April 19, 2006. This procurement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 531110, for which the size standard is an average gross receipts of $6.5 million (not to exceed) for the previous three years. DESCRIPTION: Executive apartment, 1 bedroom, non-smoking, to be located in building with security within the area serviced by the Washington, DC Metro and no more than 3 blocks from a DC metro station. Building shall also have a workout room equipped with exercise and weight training equipment. Apartment to include, but not limited to dining room furniture and a minimum of one queen size bed. Also, to include 1 ea parking space; all utilities; unlimited local and long distance phone service; high speed internet; cable television with sets located both in living room and bedroom; washer and dryer; two(2) sets of bed linens, four(4) bath towel sets and two(2) kitchen towel/dishcloth sets onsite to be exchanged as required during weekly and/or transitional cleaning; housekeeping items to include vacuum, dustpan, broom, bowel brush and other appropriate supplies/equipment necessary to maintain cleanliness between maid visits; fully equipped kitchen to include, but not limited to place settings for four(4), toaster, can opener, coffee pot, microwave, large frying pan, sauce pans, Dutch oven, knives, utensils, etc.; window treatments and wall decorations. Quote must list DUNS number and Federal Tax ID Number (TIN). All offerors must be in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the time of award and must accept payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Term of the lease is to be twelve (12) months commencing 30 days from date of award or August 1, 2006, whichever is later. 2. Security shall be provided by both by a door attendant 24 hours a day seven days a week and access restricted by possession of either a key, a key card or similarly functioning item. 3. In addition to items listed in the original announcement, the apartment shall have (a) a desk with chair and lamp located in close proximity to the internet connection to allow use of computers and (b) a washer and dryer or washer/dryer within the apartment itself. 4. Due date remains 7/7/2006 at 1430 EDT. 5. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
