- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Office Technology/Vocational Training Services for the inmate population at the Federal Medical Center Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas. The successful contractor shall provide two (2) computer instructors for classroom instruction for Office Technology classes leading to a certificate of completion from an accredited institution. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year are estimated at 1764 sessions per year for the instruction Services. One (1) session equals one (1) hour. The number of hours per week shall not exceed thirty (35) hours. One instructor will work six(6) sessions per day and the other three(3) sessions per day. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base year with two 12 month option years for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about June 30, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 25, 2006. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611519. The solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
