Description
The following additional information is provided: Approximate service requirements per desalinator are once every four years. Approximate quantities of items in inventory: (MORD) NSN 4610-01-313-6085 (06-LL-1) - 77 EA (MORD) NSN 4610-01-313-6086 (35 LA-1) - 40 EA The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to provide companies, hereinto referred to as ?Contractors?, engaged in the business of providing service and repair of Hand Held Reverse Osmosis Desalinators the opportunity to submit to March Air Reserve Base, hereinto referred to as the ?Government?, a list or services and repairs of their current prices (sometimes referred to as a ?rate sheet?) Rates sheets will only be accepted from Small Businesses. The associated NAICS is 333319. The applicable Size Standard is 500 employees. Product: (MORD) NSN 4610-01-313-6085 (06-LL-1) (MORD) NSN 4610-01-313-6086 (35 LA-1) The services generally required are: Salt water flush and pressure test Fresh water flush and biocide dip Rebuild pump as needed. Repair internal leaks and replace seals Install new hoses and clean unit as needed Visually inspect, repackage and provide return transportation Units are restored to meet original spectifications At its sole discretion and unilateral determination, the Government may, as a result of price sheets submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice, contact interested Contractors for the purpose of establishing a Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). A BPA provides the Government a simplified methond of filling anticipated needs for supplies or services by establishing ?charge accounts? with qualified sources of supply. The establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement does not guarantee that any orders (otherwise known as ?calls?) will be placed with a Contrator. The Government is obligated under any BPA only to the extent of call(s) placed by individuals authorized to do so by a Contracting Offaicer of the United States.
