Description

This announcement constitutes public notice that Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a firm fixed price contract to provide maintenance and upgrade support personnel. This service provides organizational level maintenance support for the carry-on/carry-off equipment associated with the Direct Support Operator (DSO) mission for the 25th IOS and overseas Detachments 2 & 3. Award will be made on a sole source basis to Scientific Research Corporation., 2300 Windy Ridge Pkwy #400 SE, Atlanta GA 30339-5665. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304?(1), as implemented by FAR 15.002(a) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(2). Interested parties may respond to the requirement and provide technical capability. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541710 and has a size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation FA441706R0012.
