- CONTACT Point of Contact: Gen Yuen (732) 427-5988. Light Emitting Diode Arrays: SU-96/UA, NSN 5855-01-029-8733; SU-122/UA, NSN 5855-01-119-5869; and SU-127/UA, NSN 5855-01-203-4714. This market survey is to locate potential sources of supply for the described Light Emitting Diode Arrays (LEDAs) that the Government proposes to procure on a 5-year, Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. These LEDAs are 1st Generation Forward Looking Infrared (1st Gen FLIR) Common Modules used in legacy US Army systems such as the Pilot Night Vision Sight and Target Acquisition Designation System deployed on the Apache Helicopter. First Gen IR represents a mature product line with a declining market demand due to emerging 2nd Generation FLIR technology. The data possessed by the Government for these LEDAs consist of the Top Assembly Drawing (TAD) and associated drawings for each LEDA, and a common Military Performance Specification. Since this is the only data owned by the Government, the contractor must be prepared on the basis of this data to deliver LEDAs that meet performance requirements in cited legacy systems. The Government is not capable, and will not be held accountable for providing additional technical guidance. Presently, the Government recogn izes one qualified source for these LEDAs. Unless waived, Pre-production First Article requirements will be imposed on this contract. Over the five-year contract, the Government anticipates requirements will encompass about 1,200 each of the SU-96/UA, 3,00 0 each of the SU-122/UA, and 700 each of the SU-127/UA. Delivery requirements will likely range from 30 to 60 units per month 90 to 120 Days After Award. Each respondent to this survey will be expected to demonstrate that it possesses production and techni cal capabilities to meet these requirements. Interested, parties have until 10 July 06 to request cited TADs and the Performance Specification from the POC cited herein. Interested sources must send the following information, NLT 14 July 06, to CECOM IEW/S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-TI (Gen Yuen), Bldg. 1201, Ft Monmouth, NJ 07703-5008.
