Description

Sources Sought Notice for construction of Enlisted family housing on Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas. Respond no later than 15 July 2006. Whole neighborhood revitalization by constructing 34 Enlisted family housing units consisting of three and four-b edroom units complete with neighborhood amenities and support infrastructure, all too current standards on a new site to replace the existing Enlisted units. Construction consists of variously configured single and duplex, one and two story buildings whic h are factory built/manufactured and/or conventionally on-site constructed houses. The project includes frame construction with brick veneer, stucco or pre-finished siding. Project will provide individual HVAC controls, hard wired interconnect smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, storage within the garage, a fenced patio, all equipment and appliances for functional living units. Supporting facility work includes new utilities and roads including curb and gutters, sidewalks, recreational amenities, and la ndscaping. This is tentatively a FY 2007 fiscal year award, issuing the solicitation September - October 2006. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking industrial capability and input from interested parties prior to issuing a solicitation. Thi s program is not restricted and is open to both large and small business participation under NAICS codes 23321, SIC Codes 1521 and 1522. It is intended to reach as many interested parties as possible. USACE encourages small business joint ventures or tea m arrangements. Obtain additional information and guidance from your Small Business Administrative Office. Currently, a determination has not been made for the project to be a set-a-side.
