Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office located at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, intends to issue a sole source award to Teledyne Benthos, Inc, North Falmouth, MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for a quantity of 23 each, model 865-A acoustic releases, to be refurbished. This action will be conducted utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price. The NAICS Code is 334519 with a Business Size of 500 employees. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22
