Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a sole source announcement. No Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be prepared and no hard copy will be made available. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWAR San Diego) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Cadence Design Systems, Inc. 2655 Seely Ave., Bldg 9, San Jose, CA 95134 for Software Support of the following: Vistuoso(R) Spectre(F) Circuit Simulat, Virtuoso(R) Spectre(F)-RF Simulation O, Virtuoso(R) Schematic Editor and Virtuoso(R) Analog Design Environment. The sole source is based on proprietary rights. Award will be based on an all or none basis. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Numbered Note 22 applies except all responses to this sole source announcement must be received within 5 days (in lieu of 45 days) from the date of this advertisement maybe considered by the government. The applicable NAICS code is 541511; the size standard is 21M. Central Contractor Registration is required for all vendor's doing business with DOD. Information may be found at http://www.ccr.gov.
