Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for computer software and training is prepared in accordance with the FAR Part 13.105. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The procurement and solicitation are being issued as request for quotation (RFQ), Solicitation Number 2006-Q-32228. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Action Circular 2005-04, dated June 8, 2005. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a requirement for a vendor to provide the following: Line item 1: one (1) each (license floating) Polyworks /Modeler & Inspector V.9 for Windows NT/2000/XP including dongle and the first year support/maintenance contract. This suite includes IMAilgn V.9, IMMergeV.9, IMEdit V.9, IMCompressV.9, IMInspect V.9, and IGES module V.9. Line item 2: one (1) each (license floating) NURBS Surfacing Module Upgrade. Line item 3: Conduct a five (5) day ?basic training on Polyworks/Modeler and Inspector package at the vendor?s location. Line item 4: Conduct a three (3) day ?custom training? on Polyworks/modeler and Inspector package on-site (Pittsburgh Pennsylvania). Line item 5: shipping and handling costs, if any. The products and training must be immediately available. This is a full and open competition. Award will be made to the lowest acceptable price. Quotations will be due no later than 5:00pm EST on July 12, 2006. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to an award of a federal contract at www.ccr.gov. The vendor must relinquish any rights to information obtained from this solicitation.
