- FEDBIZOPPS Announcement: For Potential Sources of RF and Acoustic Enclosures The Department of State, Office of Acquisitions is seeking information from potential suppliers of radio frequency (RF) and acoustic attenuation enclosures. Potential suppliers are requested to respond to the following questions: 1. Can your company produce an enclosure that provides both acoustic and radio frequency attenuation performance? If so, what respective levels of acoustic frequency and radio frequency attenuation performance does your product provide and at what frequencies? Describe the construction of your enclosure. 2. Can your company produce and install an all-steel enclosures based on the Lindsay/Rantec all-steel, tension-bolted RF frame & panel design? What is your experience with the Lindsay system, number of units fabricated and installed? 3. Can your company produce and install an acoustic room that can be installed within an RF all steel enclosure? 4. Can your company design, fabricate, pre-assemble, pre-certify, pack, ship, install, and test up to three different AF/RF enclosures simultaneously? 5. Can your company provide the necessary trained personnel to simultaneously deploy up to three TS-cleared installation teams at different overseas locations and provide a turnkey installation to include the requisite electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems? What are the skill levels and experience of team members and team leads? 6. Can your company provide a 20-25 year warranty on the design, manufacture, and installation of RF and AF shells, excluding all attachments, utilities and doors? 7. Can your company provide cut-sheets and descriptive literature delineating the ?standard joint attachment methods? employed in the installation of your AF and RF systems? 8. Can your company produce enclosures that accommodate RF doors of other manufacturers? 9. Can your company produce and install a shielded enclosure capable in meeting zone 4 seismic building code requirements? 10. Can your company provide turnkey finish office interiors from design services through purchase and installation of carpet tiles, ceiling tile, furniture, etc.? 11. Can your company perform both Acoustic and Radio Frequency testing? 12. Can your company provide both telephone and fire alarm specialists? 13. Can your product be taken apart and reassembled without destroying any of the components? This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal.
